First off let me say the food was FANTASTIC! Really good food. Worth a visit for that alone. We needed a place near the airport for a very early flight and this fit the bill. The staff even was able to arrange a taxi for us early in the morning, very very nice people. My only complaint was an odd smell in the hotel room like something was wet. Our stay was still safe and worth the cost. The jet noise goes away around 1030pm when the last flights leave so it was not a problem.

We stayed in Bologna for two days (at a different bnb) and went to Emis Restaurant because of a recommendation. It was so good, that we went there twice in a row! The "Bestseller" Pizza is an absolute must try! Delicious!

It's a small cozy hotel not far from the airport. You still need a taxi to get from and to the airport. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. I was worried about the potential airplane noise. It was quiet during the night. We've also been provided by the earplugs - nice touch. We arrived late and the restaurant kitchen was closed. We had a pizza. Which has turned out to be very good. The service was very good and friendly. I can recommend that hotel if you need to spend a night in the close proximity to the airport.

I stayed at Hotel Emi the night before my flight out of the Bologna Airport. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. They arranged a taxi for me for the morning which made getting to the airport very easy. Also the pizza I ate in the restaurant at Hotel Emi might be the best pizza I have ever eaten. It's called the "Best Selling" and I can see why. Stay here and eat here. You will enjoy it.

A really good find! The hotel provides clean, spacious rooms - mine had a little private patio, too. The hotel appears to be family run, so all personnel was very kind and accommodating. They arranged transportation for my early flight the next day. Yes, you can hear the planes landing and/or taking-off, but that’s expected. As a matter of fact, there was a pair of ear plugs provided by the property ! The restaurant is just as great as the hotel: excellent food, good wine, and impeccable service. The tiramisu was delicious (so was the pizza I had).

Great alternative, right next to the airport. There is a runway close by, so noise may be a problem.
